Why isn't the drop down menu on my home page functioning properly?

When you are on our home page, if you do the drop down menu, it is not allowing you to click on the items. If you are further down the page or on a different page, it works.

I have recently changed themes but it was happening on our prior theme as well. Previously it sometimes would send us to a page that was not linked or one we ever created (stated home-decor)

Example, the Black History Month would work but the others over the image will not.

I have identified the issue in your CSS causing a conflict in the menu. To resolve this, please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Online Store → Themes → Edit code.
  2. Open your base.css file.
  3. Paste the following code:
.slider_link a {
     z-index: 1;
}

.slider_link {
    z-index: 1;
}

Ensure that the z-index property is set to 1 for both the .slider_link a and .slider_link classes.

Thank you! I’ve tried so many things and knew it was something silly. We’ve done similiar basic set up on multiple websites but this one is the only one giving us a hard time.
