Why isn't the 'read more' button on my blog functioning properly?

Hi! Can somebody help advise on how to make read more show the rest of our blogs? The theme has the option to enable read more but when put into live, it doesn’t show.

I tried doing your suggestion. Unfortunately I don’t have the blog template liquid, and only have these for blog related in my theme. Sorry, i’m not familiar with codes.
