I have had two customer today, unable to complete an order because they couldn’t add an item to a cart, even though the inventory showed multiple available.

First of all, have you been able to recreate your customers’ experience at checkout? I recommend the following troubleshooting steps:
- Add the same product variant to cart
- Use the same shipping region as your customer/s
- Double check your product’s shipping profile for fulfillment information
- If you have multiple locations, review inventory at each
