Why Shopify Product Taxonomy ID is different from Google Product Taxonomy ID?

Hi Shopify,

I dont know how or why do you “think up” a product taxonomy list with different IDs from google’s one.

Google’s one was the first, and you think up another one

When we want to prepare the csv file to import product we must think twice. It is a waste of time of source of multiple and risky bugs.

I think it will be better to change Shopify Product Taxonomy to use the same ID of Google’s one, and when there is something new over Google’s one … use ID above 10000, for example
