Why was my flower-selling account closed by Shopify unexpectedly?

Hello, Shopify has closed our shop for no reason. We are with a Shopify expert. We spent more than €6,000 to develop an api… We sell flowers, and we have all the authorisations and contracts with our florists to do so. It’s incomprehensible. We’ve spent days and nights having them removed overnight. The reason given is: malicious and deceptive practices. I don’t see how we meet these criteria.

We end up with this message:

After reviewing your information and website *****.com,

we have determined that you are in violation of Section 7 of the Shopify Acceptable Use Policy and we are therefore unable to support your business. We are terminating your account in accordance with our right in Section 14.3 of Shopify Terms of Service.

  1. Malicious and deceptive practices: You may not use the Services to transmit malware or host phishing pages. You may not perform activities or upload or distribute Materials that harm or disrupt the operation of the Services or other infrastructure of Shopify or others, including Shopify’s third party providers. You may not use the Services for deceptive commercial practices or any other illegal or deceptive activities.

There has been no response from risk management. We’ve lost a lot of money for a young company and young creators like us. We’re going to have to pay back our money and abandon the project because Shopify hasn’t given us any response to find the problem and correct it if necessary.

Thank you for your reply. I contacted support by messenger, and they told me that for this problem they don’t have access and only the risk department can answer me, and the risk department doesn’t give any answers. I’ve seen in other articles that they have the right not to give answers. I think this is unfair to us.

The store is no longer available because, unfortunately, shopify has blocked everything. Nothing is accessible anymore.
