Why was my Instagram shopping registration rejected?

My attempt to register for Instagram shopping has been rejected and I am not sure why.

We have 3,997 instagram followers and a succesful Etsy business and just set up a Shopify store.

Is there a minimum requirement required to start be approved for Instagram shopping?

Please can someone help.

Keep in mind that you must have a minimum of nine products in your Facebook shop (your product catalog) to be approved for Instagram product tagging

Instagram does have eligibility requirements to use their shopping features. The basic list is as follows:

  1. Have an Instagram Professional account
  2. Be located in a supported region
  3. Products listed must be available for direct purchase at your domain
