So to all people I say this. DO NOT USE SHOPIFY IT IS A SCAM.
I am convinced it is a scam, because of my experience, and the fact that others have had a similar experience with no resolution.
I have received no response to any of my support tickets - 0 response. I have received 0 phone calls as I have requested. I have had 0 response, to any communications I have sent, besides the generic email from the legal team.
I have spent significant money - (more than the average person just starting a store) - we paid I.T people to configure scripts for data import procedures, we have hundreds of hours in this.
Shopify have gladly taken subscription money, and provided ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in return.
THAT IS OTHERWISE KNOWN AS A SCAM.
Shopify’s buffoons, will destroy their own business, by terminating the accounts of legitimate business owners at a whim, with no explanation. It is only a matter of time, before somebody sues your company for that, and then bye bye Shopify.
My advice here, for anybody - do not use this platform, you will regret it. If this is the way that Shopify treats the people that pay them, I am not surprised 20 % of the company was fired.
Your platform and its procedures, would simply bankrupt somebody who is just beginning with e-commerce. Average people do not have thousands and thousands of dollars to keep pumping into subscriptions, while your INCOMPETENT support team figure out how their own software works. Average people cannot afford to have their store, just “terminated” out of nowhere. You are ruining peoples business.
I will be going straight to your opposition. I will also be doing a very in depth review of your services and platform, for as many people to see as possible.
I CAN SEE WHY SHOPIFY FIRED 20% OF ITS STAFF THIS YEAR - INCOMPETENCE AND A FAILING BUSINESS.
Personally, I am actually in complete awe of the way I have been treated, as a legitimate business person, I find it completely disrespectful, completely unprofessional, and to be honest completely amateur.
Your competitor will be glad to have my business, and probably all the business of the other people you have scammed, with your fake e-commerce platform.
IF YOU WANT TO LOSE MONEY AND HAVE YOUR STORE TERMINATED WITHOUT REASON AT ANY TIME WITHOUT ANY REPURCUSSIONS ON SHOPIFY, COSTING YOUR BUSINESS THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS - USE SHOPIFY.
