I have a problem with my store. It says that I don’t have any permission to my store although I’m the store owner with that mail. So, I had to communicate with Shopify contact support, and they told to me that they will email me within the certain business hours. Unfortunately, it’s been several weeks since I have this problem. I already bought my plan, and why they suddenly shut down my store? If I do violate the rule, at least give me an explanation to my email right after they shut down my store. I still waiting for they email me right now. Please explain what happened to my store.
Topic summary
Store owner cannot access their Shopify store, seeing a “no permission” message despite being the listed owner and having purchased a paid plan. A screenshot of the error was shared.
They contacted Shopify Support and were told to expect an email within business hours, but several weeks have passed with no follow-up. They request an explanation if a policy violation occurred and clarification on why the store appears shut down.
Additional context: this is their second store. The first store had the same access issue but was only on a free plan; the current store is paid, making the impact greater.
Community suggestion: verify whether the store is tied to a different email address and attempt login with any other emails used previously, as similar cases were caused by signing up under another email.
Status: no resolution or official response yet; the user remains locked out and is awaiting Shopify’s email. Key questions about the shutdown reason remain unanswered.
One thing you should know, this is my second store. The first had the same issue but was still on the free plan. The second is the store in which I have invested, and also I have bought a plan. So that wasn’t a great solution.
If you have any other emails try using those. My thought is that it is linked to another email somehow. I had this same problem a long time ago and it was because I forgot that I actually signed up under a different email.
