Why won't barcodes upload via CSV in my online store?

Hi there,

has anyone had issues with uploading barcodes via CSV to shopify. even when the barcodes are stored as text they just dont seem to appear in shopify.

The barcodes are GTIN registered but it feels like shopify just doesnt want to accept the information from the CSV.

if anyone has had a similar issue struggling to upload CSV please shout

I recommend checking out our Using CSV Files Documentation for guidance on successfully importing products to the shop. It includes a sample CSV file that can be used as a template when creating your own. This also outlines the required columns and format to ensure a successful upload.

Export a fresh product CSV, and the barcodes need an apostrophe infront of them so that theyre read as text by excel.

I’m having the issue now - I’m using my standard import template with no issues before. No doesn’t import barcodes no matter what I try. I’ve tried the above and it still doesn’t import barcodes.
