I used to have an old sale in my announcement bar and then turned it offline. Now I want to show it again with another sale but whenever I change the text it doesnt get updated on my website. On the shopify theme INSIDE shopify it shows the correct text but whenever I go to my website url it seems the text doesnt get updated.
Any tips?

It’s possible that the system needed a little more time for the theme changes to reflect on the online store, as the system will generally reflect the changes within a couple of minutes or after a couple of refreshes on your browser. However, in some rare cases, the issue could also be due to the stored caches on your browser or in the back-end of Shopify. If the issue continues to persist using a different browser, then we may also need to check whether the issue is isolated to your current theme or if it’s a more widespread issue that’s affecting all themes installed on your store.
Can you check if you’re able to save the changes for your announcement bar using a different browser or device? Or, can you check whether the issue continues to persist using a fresh install of one of our free themes?

I think this is a problem in the theme because it is working in another
theme, also the footer wont change their headline.

If the issue is only present on the original theme, then the issue is likely due to previous modification(s) made to your theme. Depending on the theme you’re using, you can get support from our Theme Support team if you’re using a Shopify-supported theme or you will need to find support for your theme from the theme developer with third-party or custom themes.
Can you confirm which theme you’re using?
