Why won't one button change color on my site?

Hello,

I have changed the theme settings on my site to have all buttons a certain color, and one won’t change.

It is in an Image with Text section (which seems to be an issue for many) but I haven’t been able to find a solution for my site.

The site is whatareyoustrivingfor.com. I want the black ‘Reviews’ button to be #AF968B.

Thanks for your help!

Hi @strivewellness

Try this one.

  • From your Shopify admin dashboard, click on “Online Store” and then “Themes”.
  • Find the theme that you want to edit and click on “Actions” and then “Edit code”.
  • In the “Assets” folder, click on “base.css, style.css or theme.css” file, depending on which file your theme uses to store its CSS styles. At the bottom of the file, add the following CSS code:
a.button.button--primary {
    background: #AF968B !important;
}

Hello! Thank you for this. This worked, but it changed every button on my site, which isn’t what I wanted… Is there a way to only change that one button?

Oh, Sorry my fault. Check this one then.

Same Instruction.

#ImageWithText--template--17937271718204__4201114a-57e9-415e-a5df-bf03e7df496e > a {
    background: #AF968B !important;
}

And Save.
