Widget - 'month to date' feature request

In the widget you can set the date to ‘Today’, ‘7 days’ or ‘30 days’. I would find it really useful to be able to set it to ‘this month to date’ so I can easily see how the month is going.

Also, it would be brilliant if one of the choices of metrics could be ‘gross profit’.

The widget I refer to is the one that can go on the phones home screen and show a range of stats.

If anyone knows as way to make it do what I need, let me know, else I think this post should act as a feature request.

Workarounds & Solutions

    While the widget doesn’t support “Month to Date,” you can check it in the Shopify mobile app:

. Go to Analytics
. Set the date filter to “This Month to Date”

    Since this isn’t a built-in feature, I’d recommend submitting a feature request to Shopify Support:

. Visit Shopify Support
. Go to Feedback & Feature Requests
. Suggest “Month to Date” and “Gross Profit” for the widget

    If you need this badly, you (or a developer) can create a custom widget using:

. Shopify API → Get sales data dynamically
. iOS/Android Widget → Display stats on the home screen
