I bought a domain and it says its managed by people in moscow but i live in the U.S will that effect anything?

I haven’t heard of someone running into issues based on where their domain was hosted, although I did find some information on the speed of your website possibly being slower because of the distance. Otherwise you should be good to go. If you want to double check it’s best to contact the domain company and ask them a few questions. They should be able to give you more information about this.
