I have my gift card set up with pricing but when I went in to do a practice run with it it did not show up in the cart. Will it work after the site goes live and a customer purchases one?

It’s great to hear that you added gift cards to your store, as they’re an awesome way to increase sales and promote customer retention. Please review our comprehensive guide to ensure that you have activated and correctly set up your gift cards as products. Don’t forget to publish your gift card as well:

From your Shopify admin, go to Products > Gift cards.

Click View gift card products.

Click the gift card that you want to edit.

In the Sales channels section, make the gift card available to one or more of your active sales channels.

Click Save.
Once you follow these steps, you should be able to add the gift card directly to your cart and simulate a purchase. Let me know how that goes!
