I recently went to restart my store and had 4 months of existing time on my current 1 year plan remaining. Will this transfer over to my newly started store (same email address, login etc) or will I have to purchase another 1 year plan now to proceed with this store?

When you say you have a newly started store, do you mean you created a whole new account for this new store? Or you are using the same login/account as the old store but you are now using a new theme to begin a new store? As long as you are using the same account, you can certainly use the same plan for this new store if you wish. If you have created a whole new account for this store, then it comes with its own separate subscription fees and the 4 months will not be transferred.
It is exciting to hear you are going in a new direction! Can I ask what are your plans for the new store? What will you be selling?
