Will my Facebook shop disappear completely if i delete shopify?

I want to start all over with Shopify and start from scratch again due to me PERMANENTLY being banned from Facebook ads. ?‍ :male_sign: , My question is if I delete my Shopify account or commerce account will everything be gone including my Facebook page/shop? (What I am hoping for)

If you delete your commerce account, your Facebook Shop will be deleted but your Facebook Page will not

This is a great question. As mentioned by @Horlart_Expert , you would need to delete your Facebook Commerce account in order to delete the Facebook shop.

If you are referring to deleting the Facebook shop on your Facebook Business Manager, this is something that you would need to do on the Facebook business manager. Facebook has a help doc here on deactivating your Commerce Account in Commerce Manager, and I have also listed the steps below:

  1. Go to Commerce Manager and select your shop.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Settings.
  3. Click Edit in the top-right of the Commerce Account Info section.
  4. Click Deactivate Commerce Account.
  5. Enter your Facebook password and click Confirm.
  6. Choose an option from the Reason for Deactivating Account dropdown, or provide your own.
  7. Click Deactivate Account.

Here are the factors you need to remember once you delete your commerce account.

  • You won’t have access to your shop or any existing orders.
  • Existing collections and shops will be removed.
  • Product tags are disabled.
  • Tax reports are inaccessible.
  • Existing sales channels will be disconnected.
  • These changes are permanent and cannot be reversed.

  • Click the Shop tab from your Facebook Page.
  • Click the gear icon.
  • Click Delete Shop.

Once you are done with that, you may also delete the Facebook sales channel in your store admin. Just follow the steps below.

  • From your Shopify admin, click Settings, and then click Sales channels.
  • Click Remove beside the name of the sales channel that you want to remove.
  • If you want to give a reason for removing the channel, then enter it in the field.
  • Click to confirm.
