Hi, I have not paid Shopify yet because I am on my free trial so I do not want anymore to create a website but my credit card is there soo will Shopify charge me after the free trial even if I do not use it anymore but credit card is connected?

To provide some context, the online store will need to be deactivated before the trial period ends to ensure no fees are automatically charged. I recommend checking out our Deactivating Your Shop documentation for those steps. It outlines, you can complete this by:

Head to Settings > Plan from the Shopify admin.

Click Deactivate Store.

Select a reason for the deactivation, and then click Continue.

Enter your password, and then click Deactivate now.
It’s important to note, only the Account Owner can complete the deactivation process and will have the shop information stored for 2 years.
