I’m a Shopify App Store Developer, I want to know if the merchants recieved the reminder email before their yearly subscription be renewed and charged? Because of the local goverment regulation, business have the obligation to inform subscribers before charge. If Shopify doesn’t send the reminder then we have to do this on our own…

Shopify does not send yearly renewal emails on behalf of app subscriptions, therefore, this is something you will have to consider setting up as the App’s Developer. Since you have full control of the merchant experience within your app, you may even consider adding reminders within the app’s admin in addition to email reminders.
