So I’ve seen a few posts from several months back that suggest that WorldPay and Shopify can/might/ support 3DS / PSD2 but that there were problems implementing it. I’m just migrating from Volusion who cannot support 3DS with WorldPay and hope that my choice of new eCommerce platform (Shopify) isn’t a waste of time and effort.
So, what exactly is required for getting WorldPay and Shopify working happily together in the UK with 3DS? BTW, I have to use WorldPay as they are the only payment provider we’ve found that will process payment for the firearms accessory industry.

From what I have found out from worldpay , CARDINAL account is required.
Shopify has integrated directly to Cardinal to do 3DS for Shopify Direct. This means you will need to get a Cardinal account and there may be costs involved with this. This will need to be discussed with Cardinal and Shopify.

No, Shopify can’t support WorldPay and 3DS without going offsite which is not ideal. We’ve stopped using Shopify because of this and moved to a different platform.
