Would love feedback on my digital art print store — msmaiorigin.shop

Hi everyone! :waving_hand:

I’d love some honest feedback on my online store. I sell premium digital art prints across several collections including floral, coastal, Japanese-inspired, and themed artwork.

A few things I’m specifically curious about:

  • First impressions — Does the homepage feel premium and cohesive?
  • Navigation — Is it easy to find and browse collections?
  • Product pages — Are the images clear? Is the digital download process obvious to shoppers?
  • Trust & credibility — Does the store feel professional and trustworthy?
  • Mobile experience — How does it look on your phone?

Any and all feedback is welcome — design, copy, UX, anything you notice. I’m still in the early stages and want to get this right before scaling up.

Thanks so much in advance! :folded_hands:

Honestly, I doubt this will get any traction, unless you change the products. Anyone can sign up for Shopify and download a theme. Doesn’t mean what you are selling is worth buying.

AI generated dgital art is free or at the very least dirt cheap. Chatgpt, Canva, Kittl, and others have already made this kind of product easily accessible. There’s nothing unique about your digital art, and some of it already exist on the Internet or is a poorly AI re-creation of legitimate artwork. Anyone can go to Chatgpt and ask it to generate an image, then upscale in Canva. There’s no reason to pay you 20 dollars for 1 AI generated image. I would ask you. Would YOU buy it? I don’t think you would. No one would. At least no one with any intelligence.

Theme, styles, fake reviews, About Us page probably generated by AI too, all that is pointless until you can come up with a viable product that is worth buying.

Hope it works out for you.

Hey Michael!

The homepage layout is solid and the lifestyle mockups showing prints on walls is the right approach for this kind of store. The design itself isn’t the issue.

Two quick fixes that will help immediately: your social media links all point to Shopify’s default accounts (instagram.com/shopify, etc.) instead of yours, and the testimonials should come down until you have real customer reviews. Both are easy to fix and both hurt credibility right now.

I’d also focus your collections. 7 different niches is a lot for a new store. Pick your strongest 2-3, build depth there, and expand once those are performing.

The other commenter raised some valid points about the market for AI art. I won’t repeat that, but it’s worth thinking about what makes your curation or style unique enough to justify the price. That’s your real challenge more than any design tweak.

For the digital delivery side, I work with Big Digital Downloads (I’m on the team). It handles instant downloads, email delivery, and download limits. Worth a look if you don’t have that set up yet

Good luck!

I’ve liked both posst above as I mostly agree with what’s written there.

However – yes, you may find your buyers. AI is a tool, and to create and perfect an image would still require a touch of art.

Having said that – attention to detail is what makes a site appealing.
At the moment there still are:

  • a text logo. On the artisan’s site!;
  • default links to Shopify social media in footer;
  • clumsy image banner with fake button :slight_smile: ;
  • Irregular collection product grids.

Frankly, if an AI user would’ve asked AI to critique the site, it’d pick up all these points.

Also – i’d select some of the very best of these designs in a separate collection and feature it on the homepage to try getting some traction.

Are you using a screenshot of your hero banner to make it hero banner again because this button doesn’t make sense at all

The products images could be aligned better here. But the bigger problem is already mentioned above by other community members which is that you need to really think about the products, the whole site is giving AI vibe only. So better think about that before optimizing your site or pouring more money into it
