Hi all,

I am the project director of the Pennsylvania Parks Fund. Keep in mind we are a nonprofit. So our primary focus isn’t just sales. We are more interested in getting our info out and collecting donations. That being said, we do offer merch on our website. Your honest opinion of the overall flow of our site would mean alot.

The design is very clean, and your website is easy to understand. Nice job! Here’s three things I would recommend:

  1. Make the “Member Benefits” and “Join Today” button colors different, so it’s clear to website visitors that these are two different options and go to two different locations.

  2. You might want to add a little more information on your home page as to “who you are”, why your organization exists, who you help, and how you can help them. It’s important to make this information as clear as possible to people who hit your website.

  3. A third thing I would recommend is to add a bit more personality to the website, showing the people or faces behind the organization.

Overall, your website looks very nice, so great job!

Hi @Justin34 ,

This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder. I was so impressed by your store’s purpose. Thus, I would love to provide my recommendations for your store. I have just some small things for a better chance of gaining sales. May it helps!

Your store is quite pretty and clear, but it should have:

1. Clear Donation Call-to-Action

Make the option to donate more prominent and easily accessible. Consider placing a “Donate” button prominently in the header or navigation menu so that it is consistently visible across all pages. Additionally, you can feature a compelling call-to-action section on the homepage that highlights the impact of donations and encourages visitors to contribute.

2. Trust and Transparency

Display trust signals and transparency to instill confidence in potential donors. Provide clear information about how donations are used, such as funding specific projects, maintaining trails, or protecting wildlife. Highlight the organization’s financial transparency, such as audited financial reports or information about accountability and governance practices.

3. Highlight Testimonials and Social Proofs

Create dedicated sections or pages that showcase ongoing or completed projects supported by the foundation. Include images, progress updates, and details on how these projects have positively impacted the parks and forests. Demonstrating tangible results can inspire visitors to contribute and feel a sense of ownership in the organization’s work.

Incorporate social media sharing buttons or widgets to encourage visitors to share information about the organization’s work or ongoing campaigns with their networks. Actively engage with supporters on social media platforms, responding to comments, sharing updates, and encouraging discussions. This can help expand the reach of the organization and foster a community of supporters.

Utilize storytelling techniques to connect emotionally with visitors and inspire them to support the cause. Incorporate engaging content that shares success stories, showcases the impact of donations, and highlights the importance of preserving Pennsylvania’s parks and forests. This can be done through videos, testimonials, or impactful images that demonstrate the work and achievements of the organization.

4. Multiple Donation Options

Offer various ways for visitors to donate. In addition to a one-time donation, consider providing options for recurring donations or allowing visitors to choose specific projects or funds to support. Providing flexibility in donation methods can accommodate different preferences and increase the likelihood of receiving contributions.

5. Have a Plan for Promotion holidays

For example, Father’s Day is just around the corner, it’s an opportune time to enhance your store’s conversion rate. There are some tips that you can easily get the trend:

  • Offer special discount
  • Provide personalized gift options/ or Create gift sets
  • Engage with your audience on social media
