Would you do this too?

I recently realized that I need to compensate for my business’s shortcomings, such as my inexperience in marketing, managing ads, or making decisions when creating a website. I usually use tools like this one, and what would you do if you were in my shoes?

Hey @Kuroashi ,
AI tools like this can be very useful for identifying potential improvements and generating ideas, especially if you’re new to marketing or Shopify. However, I wouldn’t rely on them as the only source for making decisions.

If I were in your shoes, I’d use the recommendations as a checklist, then validate them with real data from Shopify Analytics, ad platform metrics and actual customer behavior. I’d prioritize improvements like page speed trust signals (reviews and clear policies) and a smooth checkout experience, while testing one change at a time.

For advertising, I’d avoid making multiple changes at once. Instead, I’d test different audiences and creatives while keeping the landing page consistent so I could identify what actually improves conversions. AI tools are great for guidance but your store’s own performance data should always be the final decision maker.

Thank You !

I agree. AI tools are great for identifying potential improvements and generating ideas, especially if you’re new to Shopify or digital marketing. That said, I wouldn’t rely on them as the only basis for making decisions.

I’d use their recommendations as a starting point, then validate them with real data from Shopify Analytics, GA4, and your ad platforms. Metrics like page speed, trust signals (reviews, clear policies), and checkout performance often have a much bigger impact on conversions than people expect.

For advertising, I’d also avoid making several changes at once. Testing one variable at a time—whether it’s the audience, creative, or landing page—makes it much easier to understand what’s actually improving performance.

AI can point you in the right direction, but your store’s own data and customer behavior should always guide the final decisions.
