Would you use this? Thinking about building a visual recommender app

Hi all,

I’m a software developer for visual computing and recently found a nice way to create product recommendations based on a photo.

If you had a store for home decor let’s say, the user would upload a picture of their room and the algorithm would automatically show a selection of your products that fit the best in terms of style, color etc.

That would save the customers time searching for products and drive more conversions for your store.

Before putting many hours into this though, I wanted to ask if this is something you guys would like to use / would be willing to pay money for?

Not a merchant but from a developers point of view I believe this would be a great project to work on. I also believe people would look to get this even if they have to pay for this unless there’s a better free option ofcourse​:sweat_smile: because I have seen merchants build such ui’s like a quiz or campaign with product recommendations at the end.
