Wrong bank account is connected to my Shopify payouts

I changed my payout account, but my next payout went to the old bank.

Why would this happen, and how do I fix it it’s depositing into an account with the wrong currency type!

The reason this may have happened is that the change in payout account was not processed in time for the next payout cycle.

When you update your bank account it takes a few days for those changes to take effect. This is because Payouts are created 1-2 days in advance of them appearing in your admin, and they are created to be sent to the details on the account at that time.

When a bank account is updated, any failed payouts will be re-attempted within 72 hours to the new account on file which you have added, so please allow that time to pass and check again if you have been paid.
