"Your payment couldn't be processed because your order total has changed"

We’re experiencing a new issue with our checkout—our wholesale customers are receiving the error “Your payment couldn’t be processed because your order total has changed”.

We were in the process of changing plugins from one wholesale app to another, but have reverted fully so have ruled that out as the issue.

We have replicated this issue from our side using a mocked wholesale account, but cannot seem to identify what is causing it. Standard e-comm customers seem to be able to check out just fine.

We’re also experience extreme lag in getting from the cart to checkout. At checkout Shop Pay says ‘Shop Pay Unavailable’ instead of prompting for a code.

There is clearly an issue somewhere in the cart/checkout process but we cannot identify where it’s stemming from. We have not made any changes to our website since this issue began.

Exact same issue on my website. All my wholesale clients are sending me screen shots of this issue. No website updates have been made in weeks and everything was working fine, until today. Don’t know what the issue is. But your not the only one.

We are seeing the same issue on our site. It appears to be a problem with Draft Orders API - a function of Shopify that probably all wholesale apps use. I was able to replicate the problem by creating a draft order and emailing the invoice to a customer (non-wholesale) and they experienced the same problems at checkout. I’m hoping we can get Shopify to address this “bug” as soon as possible.

Me too

Today i have the same problem, has anyone else had it too??
