Hi - we have a garden centre and haven’t been able to find Shopify /Dymo compatible labels that are both waterproof and sunproof. Has anyone tried the Zebra 220 printer as I think they might have more options.
Your unique situation, which requires waterproof and sunlight protection for your labels, means you would be better off looking for a thermal transfer printing solution rather than a direct thermal one. Thermal transfer heats through an ink ribbon/roll rather than straight onto the label. This will give a much better durability.
Maybe look at the Zebra ZD421T. This is fully compatible with Zebra’s ZPL language, which Shopify supports natively.
