Hi,
I recently launched my shopify store: thealchemistsart.com and have run advertisements on Instagram and Facebook. However, I unfortunately didn’t have luck with any sale but 16 “add to carts”. Could you guys give me a piece of advice of how to tackle this? I’m still a newbie and really hoping to get at least one sale.

Hi,
Welcome to Shopify Community.
Greeting of the Day.
I hope everything is going well.
I’m Ravi- Web Expert at zworthkey. I’d like to give you some feedback and suggestions for over 100+ merchants to help increase conversion rates for your store based on 5 years of experience.
Really, you are getting lots of traffic, But no sales.
Because Ads technique are low, before using ads you have to know you target audience interest.
What product are they looking or what thing are they are searching for?
You have to work on this, Ads is the not appropriate Solution to get sales.
In most cases, if your Facebook /Google ads have low reach, it’s most likely because of one (or a combination) of these Some reasons:
- Your ad set budget is too low
- Your audience is too small
- You missed the mark for your target audience
- Overlapping audiences
- Low relevance score
- No, User Experience Site.
- optimization of your Ads Campaign up to 90%.
- Low Store Speed So customer can’t buy anything from your Site.
Here is some list on which you have to work on it:
-
Make your Store trustworthy
-
Add trust badges
-
Add discount in your Slideshow like Hurry! 10% off Buy Now.
-
Add Email Popup or sign up form
-
Use klaviyo for email marketing
-
Have a clear and CTA button on the banner
-
Showing customer reviews on the product page
-
add discount Announcement Bar or make it more attractive.
-
Add Social Media Share icon.
-
Use the review Apps to display reviews on your Collection page
-
Make Social Media Posting to attract More clients.
-
Provide at least one separate cross-sell section that suggests only supplementary products.
-
Social Media Posting to attract customers from Facebook, Instagram etc.
And that’s my feedback. You can consider checking zworthkey.com with 24/7 support live chat to create a more impressive look for your store to really increase conversion, also please take a look at our Guide and Blogs as well.
I hope these points make your Store more Client conversion if you need help regarding Store Revamping to make your Store More profitable.
Thank you.
Hi @Tung-Ngo , thank you for leaving the store URL so we can check it out and give out some suggestions. Your store looks nice and clean. We notice that in testimonial section, you don’t have photo reviews. Have you considered adding more photo reviews? Or you could start collecting them.
Also, you mentioned that you have a few add to cart, we suggest that you should start collecting customers’ emails and divide them into different email flows. The first one is for “new/first-time visitors”, you could send emails reminding them to come back to your website and have a look. Other email flows should focus on giving out discounts/ sales/ special offers and in these flow, we suggest you send emails to those who added your products to their carts. The purpose is to encourage/ motivate them to proceed to payment step.
Another option is that when visitors completed adding to cart, you can set up a pop up notifying them about free shipping, lucky wheel or any promotions.
Hope this helps!

Hi @Tung-Ngo ,
There could be many reasons why you are not seeing sales:
-
The overall website design looks fairly simple and may not invoke trust the way a professional website design might.
-
The layout can be confusing and there are only 2 buttons that lead to the product page. No link to the product page in the main menu.
-
The process of buying may be a bit confusing. I took a look at your product page and there doesn’t look like there’s any way to provide or select the art for the order.
-
It could be that you’re not targeting your ads correctly on Facebook and Instagram. Social media advertising is also usually a much harder sale than selling on a platform like Google.
Unfortunately, there are alot of areas to look at and improve when trying to do digital marketing. If you’d like to discuss more, our agency, Bluesoft Design, is a certified Google Partner & Shopify Expert. Feel free to give us a call if you’d like to discuss more. Best of luck!
