Zooming in when typing customized information

We use MetaFields in the back end to populate fields where customers can enter customized text onto the product. On Mobile, when the customer begins typing, it auto zooms slightly to the area in which the customer is typing. It’s actually helpful. The issue is it never zooms out. You must 2-finger scroll to zoom out. If you add to the cart the zoom remains and the close cart button doesn’t display unless you zoom out. I imagined it was a feature of our theme. I tested it on 2 other free themes and the issue persists. Any troubleshooting ideas?
