Feature Request - Drag and drop for file uploads

The file management/file uploader in Shopify admin feature is extremely lacking.

I’d like to request the following features:

  • Drag and drop file uploading
  • Sorting/filtering by file type
  • Sorting by upload date
  • Ability to rename uploaded files
  • Ability to organize in a folder structure

This is quite an old post but given the number of views, folks still stumble upon it. For the sake of posterity, Craftware has built an app that supports all of the requested features (except filtering by file type), check out Simple File Manager.
