Meet the owner!
Hey guys, my name is Jeremy Ayers the owner of 4 Wheeling Plus located on beautiful Weiss Lake in Cedar Bluff Alabama. This area is known for its small town charm which is one of the reasons why we relocated here 5 years ago. I realize that a lot of you have seen me around but haven’t gotten the chance to get to know me. So I’ll introduce myself.
I’m originally from the beautiful mountains of Washington State. My dad is an old school car guy so we spent our weekends turning wrenches on his 1940 Ford Business Coupe, or hitting up the local Good guys car show. But as boys do, I had to rebell against dad a little so when I stared buying my own rides, they had to be 4 wheel drive with big tires. I was leaving the road behind, and hitting the trails. I’ve been infatuated with Jeeps, trucks, Toyotas, ATVs, UTVs, Dirt bikes, and anything that can go offroad as long as I can remember.
As a young man I did everything I could to be involved in the automotive world. I went through the T10 toyota program as a worked in a dealership. Then I worked at tacoma screw, which sparked my love for tools and hardware. Not long after that Yukon Gear and axle scooped me up and once I got into the gear and axle industry there was no looking back.
At 28 years old I decided that I needed to do my own thing and started my own gear and axle business with my best friend Carl. And the rest as they say is history. We built a brand called Nitro gear and axle and after 16 straight years of success and growth we were acquired, and I decided to slow down and retire… kinda.
After moving to Cedar Bluff Alabama I opened 4 Wheeling Plus because I needed a hobby, and trucks are my passion. I’m a small business specializing in 4 wheel drive parts and accessories. I am an extremely through detail oriented craftsman so when you bring your vehicle to me, it’s in the best hands possible. I have a hard time tooting my own horn but I want you all to know who I am and my history so you can trust me with your vehicle. Please feel free to stop by and get to know me if you’re in the area.
