I’m ID_within, a Shopify Partner and developer building custom themes, apps and other bits of ecommerce infrastructure.

I’m particularly interested in building things properly without making them unnecessarily complicated. That might mean a lean custom theme with only the functionality a store actually needs, a small app to solve a very specific problem, or working out why something that should be simple has somehow become a complete pain in the ass.

I tend to favour simple, maintainable solutions over adding another layer of complexity. A custom build shouldn’t mean creating a giant pile of code that someone else has to be terrified of touching six months later.

I also build and maintain my own Shopify apps, including Simple Password Lock and Simple Upload Field, alongside custom client work.

So if you’ve got a Shopify problem – whether it’s a theme, an app, an integration, performance issue, or something slightly more bespoke – that’s generally the sort of thing I like working on.
