Hi, I’m Jessica Bong, founder of Soodo—a Shopify website development firm.

My passion for eCommerce started young—as cliche as it could be, I had my own “lemonade stand” project as a child. At 17, I officially incorporated and launched my first business, a T-shirt brand.

Over the years, I’ve started various direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands in industries that intrigued me, from beverages to home decor and gadgets.

Not all of them were successful, but the profitable ones gave me the flexibility to manage my business remotely while traveling. I was “digital nomading” before “digital nomading” was cool.

That taste of freedom also spoiled me for life—I never fully enjoyed a traditional 9-to-5 job thereafter. After a few short corporate stints, I decided to risk it all and start Soodo, alongside my own DTC brands.
