How can we enable tax exemption for NGO customers?

We have a customer who is in NGO and he is exempted from paying tax. Please let us know how we can enable this feature for NGO or such customers moving forward? We expect early response from you on this regard.

I recommend checking out our help document for the steps on setting up a tax-exempt customer. If your customer is located in Canada, you can instead refer to this help document.

The reason I’m asking is because I am from an NGO too, so can I be exempted from taxes as

We here at Shopify are not tax experts, so we're unable to advise you on what sort of tax rules or obligations apply to you if you are an NGO and are looking to purchase products from businesses. I recommend that you connect with a local authority on taxes so they can advise you on what rules apply to your situation. Once you've determined that, and know that you wish to purchase a product from a business online, it would be worthwhile for you to connect with the business you want to purchase from directly so you can make them aware of your NGO status.
