1 0 0

Good morning,

Can anyone advise how to proceed with the shopify registration in a country where I´m E-resident (Estonia) instead of the country where I live? My problem is that I´ve no physcal address there but I´ve tax estonian number (obviously I´ll declare taxes there). Any idea?

I´m a bit lost with the registration process 😕 thank you

Hi, @JaimeBenx!

The address you enter under Settings > Store details is meant to be your legal business address, so it should be the physical address that you operate the business from. If you don't have a physical business address in Estonia, you will not be able to set your store details to Estonia.

Can you tell me about why you're wanting to set up the store for Estonia rather than where you're operating the business from? This will help me determine what your options might be.

Hi there,

Thank you for the information provided. I'm new to setting up my Shopify store and I'm a bit confused about the registration process.

I was considering registering my store in Estonia because I have e-residency there and I've got all the tax and bank details set up. However, I don't have a physical address in Estonia. The reason I'm exploring this option is because I've heard about the benefits of Estonian e-residency, such as favorable tax regulations and access to services like Shopify Payments, which aren't available where I currently reside.

I understand that the address entered under Store Details should be the legal business address, but since I operate my business from a different location, I'm wondering if it's possible to register in Estonia despite not having a physical address there. I'm particularly interested in using Shopify Payments and I've heard that it's available when registered in Estonia.

Any advice or insights on how I can proceed in this situation would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,
