How can I correct a wrong name on my bank card survey?

Hi,

I was completing a survey that I had to do to get my payout but I accidentally put in the wrong first name so I can’t verify my ID’s to the wrong name. The survey was about the bank card I was going to use to get payouts and my business type. If you could help me I would really appreciate it. If you can help me could you change it from Sam Stoddart to Kim Stoddart.

Thank you for your post, I'm happy to help you out. From what you're describing, it sounds like you inputted incorrect information when setting up your Shopify Payments account and you're looking to get that changed so you can receive payouts. Once those details are submitted you aren't able to change them yourself, but you can get in touch with our support team to get the issue resolved. I'm not able to provide account-specific support through the Shopify Community, but if you reach out through the Help Center we can definitely help you out. We're available 24/7, and when it comes to reaching out to our live support line I'll provide some steps here to make it easier:

 

  1. Head over to this link: Contact Shopify Support · Shopify Help Center
  2. Log in
  3. Select the support topic that best suits your inquiry (such as Account or Store settings)
  4. Scroll down to where it says Get support and select one of the available support options

 

You'll then be connected with a Support Advisor who can review your account and get your request submitted.
