Why is my dropshipping site experiencing high cart abandonment rates?

Hello, i’ve recently launched my dropshipping site at the start of this month and am mainly focusing on this product www.999utopia.com.


I’ve spent around $600 on ads (mainly spent on tiktok as my facebook ads have been a total waste of money because they won’t let me run ads on any of my business accounts so I can’t get insights or use pixels) I have 120k views on one with 1800 likes. I will admit in the beginning of my advertising I didn’t know what I was doing and have now for the past 2 weeks been running add to cart conversion ads with a budget of $100 a day (I’ve been turning them off overnight to not waste my money when everyone was sleeping). But i’ve changed it to $50 a day split between 1 ad with a optimization goal of add to cart and 1 ad with a optimization goal of purchasing as of a couple days ago and have been running them nonstop.


In total from when I first started, I’ve gotten 80 carts, 64 sessions reached checkout, but only 2 purchases (i have one more but it’s not directly related to my advertising)


Can someone give me advice on why my carts and checkout sessions are being abandoned so often? I really have no idea what I’m doing wrong, I leave comments open on my tiktok ad and have reviews on my page to build a sense of trust. I have free shipping available. There’s even been about 14 people that have put in all their information at checkout and just didn’t click the checkout button.

Work on SEO, and start to take rank your website.  Start Paid Marketing also...

Look for a drop shipper it takes time to get sales... as you don't have physical inventory.. let me know which dropshipping app you are using? check shipping days to deliver the product. check the customer behavior when the customer leaves your store... 


Check your store product prices. Compare it with your competitors.. start social media marketing or email marketing...
