Conversions Not Showing in Analytics/AdWords

My site is relatively new, but I've been trying to get conversions to show up in Analytics and AdWords since it opened 2 months ago. Unfortunately, everything I do seems to return zero results.

My Analytics account is showing traffic, so we're good there. I also have a Goal Funnel created with the ultimate goal of /checkout/thank_you:

1. /cart
2. /checkout/contact_information
3. /checkout/shipping
4. /checkout/payment

I have some data in my Contact Information, but nothing for shipping, payment, and no conversions (meaning it says they did not hit /checkout/thank_you).

Anyone have any thoughts with this? I have followed numerous tutorials and my setup seems to be identical to them.

I do have a notification that says "Missing Ecommerce Data." However, Google doesn't really tell me how to go about fixing that.

Remove your own IP filters to ensure you are included in the analytics, then run a test purchase. Look at the real-time data to see that your behavior is tracked. The missing ecommerce data is a completely separate thing to the goal funnel you setup.

Thanks for reaching out! Yes, I have followed your tutorial very closely. I've probably gone back through it at least 5 times and can't see where I went wrong.

One thing I just did was enabled Goal Tracking for the Untouched View. When I went to Verify this Goal, it said I had a 4.83% conversion rate in the last 7 days. So I saved the information. However, when I jump out of the Admin page, it still shows me at 0 conversions all time.

I'll take a stab at the real time analytics tonight.

Setting up goals does not give you historical data. They start triggering only for new activity. 

You can go to the page report and filter by /checkout/thank_you to see if goals should have been triggered. When people hit the thankyou page is it exactly as written or are there parameters added to the URL. If it's not exactly the same then the goal will not fire as the instructions state "equal to".

I also noticed you have Analytics code that is incorrect:

You should change /^.*yourdomain\.com$/ to something that will match your actual domain.
