Coupon code limit per transaction

I am trying to find a setting that does not allow a customer to use more than one coupon code per transaction. I am only reading about using one code per customer but that is not what I am seeking. I have two discounts out there but only want customers to use one at a time per order. Help. Thanks...

I'm Ann, from the team here at Shopify 🙂

Good news! You don't need to take any extra steps to achieve this! Our platform actually isn't built to let people use more than one discount code at a time right now. So even if your customer tried to do this on an order, only 1 discount code will be put into effect. This is automatic, so no need to make any updates or changes on your end.
