Enabling redirection on domain

I have my primary domain connected but under it says "Traffic from your domains is not being redirected to this primary domain. "enable redirection" so i click that. then when i try to go to my url i get "The page isn’t redirecting properly

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies." i disable redirection and then when i type my url in and hit enter it goes to my shopify. Trying to figure out how to fix this or what can cause it? also i am using an app that needs to authenticate my domain but to do this is says i need to go into "manage" next to my primary domain which isn't there. so i am at a stand still.. any help or ideas. links to info would be greatly appreciated!
