Hi guys,
Been banging my head on this for the last 2 days, hopefully, someone can help me figure out the unchecked checkbox.
What I've done:
Created Pixel on Business Manager Account which is tracking data (as shown on print screen)FB Pixel activity
FB Pixel Helper
Created FB Catalog with CSV data feed, with matching ID's
created catalog manually initially; didn't work.
created catalog trough Shopify integration; didn't work.

Is there anything obvious that I'm missing?
I feel like this should be way easier then what I've been through.

Is there a way you can re do this process on the most recent Facebook Commerce Manager Layout. Facebook has changed around some buttons so im getting lost.
I did everything as you did (as best as I could). However, after all that I am still receiving the error.

I'm just following up from Paula's initial post. The Facebook and marketing channel was revamped and changed recently which is why there might be some errors right now. For anyone who's using the Felxify app, your best port of call would be to contact the app developers directly and let them know of any errors you might be encountering. You can contact them directly on their website here or by emailing them at shopify@flexify.net.
For anyone not using Flexify, there are some common errors with this since the change. Let's looks at them below:
This is likely to be caused by not having the products in their catalog on Facebook that the extension is referring to. When you connect the Facebook Shop in Shopify admin, Shopify generates a product catalogue for you that is made by Shopify, not the store owner.
The Facebook pixel helper extension will show this:
The event is only for dynamic product advertisement which the merchant has to set up on Facebook. The content_id
is only useful when you need to run dynamic product ads, which is part of the ViewContent Event. The expected default event from Shopify's integration should look like this:
If you are seeing errors, like the error displayed below, it's because Shopify's Facebook Shop channel generated catalog is a read-only catalog that cannot be used for dynamic ads, and to get the content_id
on the product they must set up Dynamic Product Advertisement via the Facebook Channel or a third-party solution.
For any unmatched products error that looks like this warning message:
To confirm what catalog this is referring to. You can click Investigate in Catalog Manager
in the above screenshot. From there, confirm if the catalog is supported by Shopify or not. A store owner will need to reach out to whoever configured that integration in the first place to see how to resolve it.

Yes, but how do you even change Group ID. Facebook keep telling that it's impossible.

In this situation, the main thing is that the offer ID is correct in the feed and the FB pixel is correctly installed on your store. Everything else is a matter of technology, they are compared when the user enters the product card on your store. And your products can be displayed using retargeting technology and catch up with those who left the cart without finishing the purchase.
