Google Adwords or Facebook?

Hi all, I want to start and ad campaign for my store and was planning to use Facebook, but they have been giving me some difficulty with my account and I have not been able to get responses from them as to what the problem is.

I am now considering going with Google Adwords instead. What is your experience with both? Do you find one better than the other for driving traffic and increasing sales?
