How can I increase traffic to my online store without spending much?

I can generate about 100 store visitors a day via Snapchat, Pinterest and Tiktok, but it costs alot of money. Are there any other ways I can get traffic to my store?

Below are some tactics you can consider using:


1. Try to list down some popular topics revolve around your products/ niches/ industries and write blog posts about them
In order to do this, you can start by browsing some popular communities or famous social accounts/ KOLs to see their most-read/ most-viewed topics (people also tend to ask and search for those topics on Google). Then categorize and pick some general keywords for those chosen topics. After you have all those keywords in one place, we suggest using keyword tools to re-check their search volumes, explore more potential keywords. The remained job that you need to do is to write, post on your website and keep optimizing them.


2. Be present on all social media sites, but stay focused on the most suitable and beneficial platforms
We can see that you're selling skin care products and Instagram might be the place you can start investing your resources in (you only mention Snapchat, TikTok and Pinterest so we assume that you've not tried Instagram). We suggest that you keep the Instagram account regularly updated with beneficial contents for customers, also stick to the neat, clean and professional brand image (since you're selling skincare products) if possible. Then on the bio don't forget to link your website URL.


3. Asides from generating traffic, pay much attention to your landing page
Your website has a persistent color palette and we appreciate that. It gives off a comfortable feeling for customers when visiting a skincare website. However, after pulling traffic to the website, you need to pay attention to improving some details that could decide whether visitors would stay or not:

 

a) Sticky menu bar: you could modify a bit with the menu bar since as of now, visitors can't navigate to anywhere they want while visiting your site. This would affect their experience a lot.

b) Social proof/ Previous buyers' reviews section: visitors tend to look for previous buyers' opinions/ feedbacks/ reviews, and most of visitors will browse through homepage and product page first so this section should be added and placed right in Homepage, product page and other pages if possible. Your website doesn't have this section so you can consider adding one. You can start figuring out the most prominent way to add a social proof section using Ali Reviews - a review platform. Add more reviews of previous buyers to increase the trust of your website is a very needed step.


c) Showcase collections: it says "Skin and Slim body" so we suggest you can add two basic collections first, "For Skin" and "For Body" and show them off right in Homepage, which provides visitors more options to choose from while navigating through your website.

Thus, more traffic will come to your site through your blog. 

 

Regularly updating your site content can help attract store visitors. You must consistently update your site with new content and information that persuades people to purchase from you if you want to keep visitors coming to it and ensure that they stay. Even after they've already made a purchase, this method of consistently upgrading your material offers a means to entice visitors to return to discover what else they may learn.
