SEO, AdWords, affiliates, advertising, and promotions
Hi, I've been getting fake customers on my Shopify store recently.
under the customer's tab in Shopify, I found the same name " Mark Mustermann" 20 times with different location addresses, although there are zero sales on my store up to this point.
Can anyone explain why is this happening?
How to stop this?
How to prevent it from happening in the future?

Spam is an unfortunate aspect of running an online business. Luckily there are some things you can do to help try and prevent this, or at least make it more difficult to do in the future. There is a great third-party app called Shop Protector that I recommend looking into. This app will offer robust fake account, and form spam protection for your website.

you can prevent spamming from a specific country by blocking the traffic from that source.
just analyze the source country and block them using a plugin.
