How do I fix discount code issues for multiple product purchases?

Last year we offered 2 Winter Candles for £50. I set this up as an 'Amount Off' discount code in the backend of Shopify and it worked seamlessly, so as long as the customer only bought 2 Winter Candles for £50. The problem occurred if they wanted to buy 4,6,8 etc. The system could only cope with redeeming the discount on the first 2, not the additional pairs therein, meaning the customer would be charged £120 for 4 candles, not £100.

I tried to rectify this at the time but nothing seemed to work. We want to run this promotion again but I'm unclear as to how to fix the issue. Can anyone advise?

I have attached an image of the discount code from last year and how it was setup. What am I missing?
