How long does Google take to review ad accounts?

hi,

for your experience, how long have you waited for a review of your ads account with Google? I have been waiting 2 months, and no one got back to me. NEVER! very upsetting.

What is your experience instead?

Thanks for sharing your question with our community. I wasn't able to find any information on an approval process for a Google Ad Account, however, I did find documentation around the ad approval process through Google Support answers.

As confirmed by Google Support:

  • Most ads are reviewed within 1 business day
  • If an ad is under review for longer than 2 business days, then you should connect with their team directly

There is also mention of non-text format ads taking longer than usual to review, however, considering you have been waiting months make sure to connect with Google for next steps.

Hi Olivia,

my question was not the clearest :-). I meant for an appeal for an ads account suspended. Still waiting since February. The annoying thing is they to me the website is fine so I don’t really know what to do:-/

It's all good. I can definitely understand why you would be worried after waiting so long. I'm not sure if you noticed in my last reply, but I did mention that Google Support FAQ pages indicate that after you submit an appeal for a Google Ad Account Suspension you can expect to hear back from a specialist within 5 days.

Though the FAQ also states it can take longer, it seems that waiting 2 months isn't the norm. I would highly recommend connecting with them to make sure the request wasn't lost, or if their follow-up hasn't reached you.
