Hello Dear Community,

I have created a Shopify store called eMalleu.com .

Its a gadget and cool products site where customers can find all the trend products.

I have run ads in facebook, instagram, adwords with target traffic based on country and interests.

In one month i received 6895 visitors with 0 sales.

I believe i have a vrey nice site . If you can review it and tell me the where is the problem

Hi Alex,

Purely from a Great Britain-based perspective:

  • I think the images look a little "spam" like which may put some people off. Cleaner, focused images may help with this.
  • There are some inconsistencies (e.g. button sizes) that could be tidied up to give a more professional appearance.
  • I know also that you're trying to target as many different countries as possible but the non-translation of text could play a massive part in converting visitors into sales. Even American-English versus UK-English may affect this.
  • From the advertising front, I'd maybe focus on a couple of key target areas and test/measure as much as possible to see what works. Try different ads, interests demographics to find the best targeting strategy.

Hope these few pointers help!

Hey Alex!

Have you tried retargeting ads? With such traffic, you definitely should.

People tend to abandon their carts, the abandonment rate is even up to 80%, which is crazy, but true.

What kind of ads are you running on FB and IG, are these prospecting campaigns? You need to retarget your site visitors with ads that follow them on social media, that will definitely bring some revenue. Without retargeting, you're wasting the opportunity to make sales, it's like burning money :/

Try this article, it explains the idea of a sales funnel and why you should never forget how important remarketing is:

Hello

I would like to ask if there is an app where convert automatically all the prices rounded e.x. if price is 24,59 then to change it 25,00

I am  using auto conversion . When i add prices i add them rounded but in EUROS so when there is a conversion to Dollars then its not rounded and i believe this may affect the conversions.

Hi Alex,

You're welcome.

What I mean regarding the images is that they all look very different and lack consistency (like you'd find when viewing a site with a lot of spam advertising).

E.g. The difference between the two product images below:

product-image-729151970_1024x1024@2x.jpgCycling-Glasses-HD1080P-Outdoor-Eyewear-Video-Recorder-Sunglasses-Camera-Recording-DVR-Glasses_540x.jpg

One looks clear and clean whereas the other is very busy. The contrasting styles will probably suit different markets & audiences better but that's something you could maybe look at testing. Although, if you're taking these from the supplier (or a number of suppliers), then I imagine this is something you will not have much control over.

Hope this helps!

Hi AlexRho,

As an online marketer and growth hacker, I understand your concern. It's so bad when a lot of visitors go to the website but there's no conversion.

I checked your site and guessed you may have put a lot of effort and time into store design. Everything looks quite good.

But in order to get real sales, I have some recommendations for you, from my experience:

1. You place a smart bar on the top, which offers free shipping. But this bar won't be shown when your visitors scroll the site, from the top to bottom.

Suggestion: You can use tools like SiteKit to create a smart bar which is sticky on the top. Then, your visitors always see the offer even when they do the scroll. Besides, SiteKit allows you to design the smart bar in a very attractive way.

2. You have an embeded opt-in form on the home page, but you also show another opt-in popup with a discount.

Suggestion: You should be consistent. Use only an optin popup which offers your visitors a discount. It's better to gamify the customer experience by creating a Spin-to-Win popup. You can use SiteKit to do this, too.

Hop these can help you a lot.
