Product Pages Discovered Not Indexed

My site has only the homepage and collection group pages indexed on google search console.  I was told by a friend that they would index over time, but it has not moved in about a month. 

I have 103 product pages that are not coming up in searches, even after offering up google adwords budget toward their key words. 

The sitemap shows 4 sub-sitemaps:

Does anyone have experience in getting the site pages recognized? It seems our entire web project is in the penalty box and we do not know how to get it searchable.

Can anyone offer assistance?  I spent all summer building a site and google has not indexed 90 percent of it still.

It seems that the Shopify template is not friendly to google as it only catalogs the menu and homepage and not the product pages.
