Hey @DealingLive,

There could be several reasons why your Facebook pixel is not properly tracking add-to-cart and checkout events on your Shopify store. Here are some possible explanations:

  • Your pixel is not installed correctly: Make sure that your Facebook pixel is installed correctly on your Shopify store. Check that the pixel ID is correct and that the pixel code is installed on all the relevant pages on your site.
  • Your pixel is not firing: Even if the pixel is installed correctly, it may not be firing properly. Make sure that the pixel code is placed in the correct location on your site, and that it is set up to fire on the correct events (such as add to cart and checkout).
  • Your pixel is not tracking the correct events: If your pixel is firing correctly but not tracking add to cart and checkout events, you may need to update your pixel settings to include these events. You can do this in your Facebook Ads Manager under the Events Manager section.
  • Your checkout process is not compatible with Facebook's tracking: If you have a custom checkout process or use a third-party checkout app, it may not be compatible with Facebook's tracking. In this case, you may need to work with your developer or app provider to ensure that your checkout process is properly configured to track Facebook events.
  • Data delay: Facebook pixels can take up to 48 hours to report events, so it's possible that there is a delay in the reporting of your add-to-cart and checkout events.
  • Ad targeting and audience size: Ensure that your ad targeting and audience size are set up correctly as well. It's possible that your ads are reaching the wrong audience or that the audience size is too small.

I would suggest troubleshooting each of these possible explanations to identify the root cause of the issue.

Hello @DealingLive,

Greetings from flareAI app - get free sales from Google! I am Gina, and I am here to help.

There could be several reasons why you are experiencing this issue. Here are a few possible reasons and solutions:

1. Technical Issues
There might be technical issues with your Facebook Pixel or Shopify integration. Check if your Pixel is installed correctly and Shopify is properly integrated with Facebook. You can use Facebook's Pixel Helper to check if your Pixel is firing correctly.

2. Delayed Reporting
Sometimes, Facebook Pixel reports can take up to 72 hours to update. This delay can result in discrepancies between the number of sales reported by Facebook and Shopify. Check your reporting data after a few days to see if the numbers match up.

3. Ad Optimization
Your ads might not be optimized properly. Make sure your targeting, ad creatives, and ad copy are relevant and engaging to your audience. This can help increase your click-through rate and conversion rate.

4. Website User Experience
Your website's user experience might be hindering sales. Check if your website is easy to navigate, has a clear call-to-action, and is mobile-friendly. This can help improve the user experience and increase sales.

5. Pricing
Your pricing might not be competitive enough. Check if your prices are in line with your competitors and adjust accordingly.

Overall, it's important to analyze your data and make informed decisions based on your findings. Use the insights you gain to optimize your ad campaigns, website, and product offerings to improve your sales performance.
