Why is my cart recovery email not sending?

I have a cart available for recovery. When I manually try to send recovery email. It shows "Error sending email"

Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.

 

This error message is generally caused by customers who may have placed an order in the past with an email address, but for the specific checkout session they only provided a phone number. A quick workaround to this would be to enable the Customers can only check out using email option in their checkout settings so customers will have to provide an email address to pass the information page in checkout. You can find this settings in the checkout settings of your admin (Settings > Checkout).
