Can Shopify be translated into multiple languages?

I would like to know if Shopify can be translated into different languages, if so, how many and where do I find this capability? I am trying to do my homework to understand all of the platforms amenities.  

I appreciate any feed back.  I want to turn my shopify into a mobile app.

I understand that you're looking to translate your Shopify store into different languages. This is definitely possible if you are on the Basic Shopify plan or higher. Each plan gives you the option to sell in up to 20 languages from a single Shopify store. However, there are a few requirements that need to be met: 

• Your theme must be compatible with selling in multiple languages. For instance, all of Shopify's free themes are compatible, but you may need to update your themes to ensure they are on the latest version. If you are using a third party theme, your best bet would be to reach out to your developer. 
• Your theme needs to have a language selector. If you're using another theme or an older version of the theme, then you can add a language selector using the Geolocation app by Shopify.
• Finally, you will need the Shopify Translate & Adapt app (in early access), or a compatible third-party translation app. Alternatively, you can follow the instructions to import your translations directly into Shopify.
